Don Cormack, elected to the UFA Board in 2018, is dedicated to supporting the agricultural sector. A professional accountant with roots in rural Saskatchewan, he owns and operates around 400 acres devoted to hay production. Don is a retired PricewaterhouseCoopers partner and has served on multiple boards, including Calgary International Airport Authority and his previous role as Chairman and Director of The Calgary Foundation.

Bob Fink, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at UFA, is dedicated to community involvement and support. He oversees various functions, including Governance, Legal and Sustainability leading high-performing teams focused on the needs of members. As a lawyer with experience in both private practice and executive leadership in large corporations, Bob understands the value of building strategic partnerships to enhance both organizational value and community impact.

Mark Sayers grew up in a family dedicated to service, influenced by his father’s ministry and community leaders. He earned a B.Sc. in Forestry from the University of Alberta and spent 36 years running a hardwood flooring business. A UFA Delegate for 15 years, he actively supports local initiatives, including 4-H Alberta.

Fred Thun, incoming President & CEO of UFA, was raised on a mixed farm near Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. With a deep appreciation for rural life, he believes in strengthening the UFA ACF to provide enduring support. Since joining UFA, Fred has been a champion for impactful investments that benefit the agricultural community.
