The UFA Foundation is proud to continue our commitment to rural youth with the return of the UFA Funds 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan Program for another year. This program helps fund local programs, projects and initiatives that make a real difference in their communities. Launching on Show Your 4-H Colours Day, this program celebrates the incredible impact 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan has across rural communities.
Applications for 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan Clubs and Districts open today. Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, with each Club or District eligible to receive $300. While funds are not guaranteed, every application will be reviewed to ensure it meets the donation criteria. Over the past few years, response has been overwhelming, with the UFA Foundation funding over 200 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan Clubs and Districts annually. Every year we look forward to seeing the photos and hearing the stories from the Clubs and District events.
The application deadline is January 31, 2026, and funds will be disbursed by March 31, 2026. Opening applications in November gives clubs time to plan their projects early for the upcoming season. Keep an eye on the UFA Foundation social channels for updates on club projects.
